"If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality." --Bishop Desmond Tutu

Sir David Attenborough, Hero of Evolution

I love this. David Attenborough, the British naturalist who's most recent documentary on the truth of Darwin's evolutionary theory has generated lots and lots of hate mail from religitards who demand he credit "God" with something or other in the evolutionary process. His response is classic.
Attenborough went further in his opposition to creationism, saying it was "terrible" when it was taught alongside evolution as an alternative perspective. "It's like saying that two and two equals four, but if you wish to believe it, it could also be five ... Evolution is not a theory; it is a fact, every bit as much as the historical fact that William the Conqueror landed in 1066."

I love it. It's as if the religitards were questioning the veracity of simple mathematical equations for religious reasons. Awesome.
