The Bush administration has no plans to declassify an unsettling NIE report on the situation in Afghanistan according to ABC news.

According to people who have been briefed, the NIE will paint a "grim" picture of the situation in Afghanistan, seven years after the US invaded in an effort to dismantle the al Qaeda network and its Taliban protectors.

It's clear that this report would again call into question the McCain record and the ongoing futility of staying in Iraq while Afghanistan falls apart on our watch.
