Obama (D) 53%, McCain (R) 43%Just to refresh everyone's memory, the last time Virginia voted for a Democrat for President was in 1964 and the candidate was a pre-voting-rights-act Lyndon Johnson. Johnson said of the act, "I know the risks are great and we might lose the South, but those sorts of states may be lost anyway."
